I tend to agree in spirit with Jason. While css CAN be a mess it doesn't need to be. With discipline, a design concept can be cleanly expressed in css. Jason has convinced me to avoid things like divs and classes and packages, and so far I'm enjoying the elegance of the result. Perhaps one could simply retire the "cascading" part.
