I agree whole-heartedly. But how? I notice most of the cheat sheets are not particularly helpful. This page is a good (but fairly incomplete) starting place:

I encourage readers who are semantic HTML afficianados to add their favorite links for re-educating people here.

Most of the material on the web, however, is embedded in WordPress which rather encourages bad practice (lots of css, lots of divs), although the shift to Gutenberg does help a bit. It would be quite possible to build a replacement for WordPress (or even an update) that facilitated and enforced good practice by replacing Themes with a simple interactive tool for the style sheet.
